The Curiosity Project was born out of the desire to create local informal evening workshops that both excite and ignite curiosity. Workshops are taught by some of New Zealand's finest, each with a special skill or knowledge we’re lucky enough they’ve agreed to share. There is no rhyme or reason to the topics ... we’re just curious.
Each workshop is approximately 90mins on a weekday evening from 6:30pm - 8pm, plenty of time to grab dinner with friends first (or go home and sort out the kids and pets). We limit numbers to around 20 people to keep it friendly, and collaborate with a local venue to provide a space that is intimate and relaxing.
Classes generally cost $45 (a little extra for materials when needed) and kick off again in March, 2019!
noun. the desire to learn or know about anything;
The Curiosity Project is collaboration between a team of newly acquired locals from varied backgrounds united by an idea, sparked by conversation, to create opportunities to learn new things crafty, creative, emotional or intellectual.
Our goal is not to make money but to create a sustainable series of workshops that connect and serve the curiosity of our community.
Do you have a special skill or knowledge you're dying to share with the curious minded? Doesn't matter if you haven't taught before, passion goes a long way, and we're here to help. Please get in touch with us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
